As the owner and dedicated pet care provider, I take great pride in offering dog walking, drop-in visits, and in-home overnight care tailored to your pet’s needs. Their comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities.
With a background as a former veterinary assistant, I bring hands-on experience and valuable knowledge to every pet I care for. I am Pet CPR & First Aid Certified and Fear Free Certified, continuously learning to better understand animal behavior and well-being. While I lead the business, my husband also lends a helping hand, making this a true family-operated service built on trust and exceptional care.
To ensure every pet receives the highest quality care, I also collaborate with a trusted pet-sitting company that independently contracts with me. Each sitter is Pet CPR & First Aid Certified, providing reliable support when needed, so your pet is always in good hands.
At SunnyRose Pet Services, we strive to create a stress-free, loving environment where pets feel secure and pet parents feel at ease. Whether it’s a cozy cuddle, a playful adventure, or a mile-long run, we follow your pet’s routine with care and enthusiasm. Meet the Team
Savannah Swartwood / Owner and Pet Sitter
Hello! I’m Savannah Swartwood, the proud owner of SunnyRose Pet Services.
Animals have always been a meaningful part of my life—I’ve cared for everything from hamsters and guinea pigs to dogs, lizards, birds, and cats. My passion for animal care led me to work as a veterinary assistant, where I gained hands-on experience in pet health and well-being. I am Pet CPR and Fear Free Certified, PCI insured, and continuously expanding my knowledge to provide the highest level of care.
At home, I share my life with my wonderful husband and our two well-trained dogs, Glacier and Hazel, who have completed therapy dog training and multiple advanced obedience courses. In addition to my work with animals, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Valley City State University and have studied music therapy techniques at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. I incorporate music into my pet care, singing and playing instruments to create a calming and enriching environment for your furry loved ones.
Whether reinforcing training techniques, going for a run with an active pup, or providing plenty of affection, I am committed to ensuring your furry loved ones feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pets!
Christian Swartwood/ Admin and Overnight Sitter Partner
Hello! I’m Christian, proud husband of Savannah and an animal lover at heart.
Having grown up with multiple dogs and cats, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for animals and their well-being. While Savannah leads SunnyRose Pet Services, I occasionally assist with overnight stays to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for your pets. You may also see me joining her on walks to provide a seamless experience for both pets and their owners.
In addition to supporting pet care, I assist with administrative tasks and interior design aspects of the business. During the day, I work as a playground designer, bringing creativity and functionality to spaces for families and communities.
I look forward to helping care for your furry loved ones and ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well cared for!
