We offer a complimentary 30-minute Meet & Greet in your home to ensure the best care for your pet. During this friendly visit, we will:
Get Acquainted: Introduce ourselves to you and your pet, laying the foundation for a trusting relationship.
Learn About Your Pet: Discuss their daily routines, favorite activities, and any special needs or preferences.
Tour the Essentials: Locate important items like food, leashes, litter boxes, and toys to maintain consistency in their care.
Review Home Access & Safety: Go over entry methods and establish emergency procedures to ensure your pet's security.
This session helps us tailor our services to keep your pet happy, comfortable, and safe while you're away.

What is your refund/cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can change unexpectedly, and we strive to accommodate our clients' needs while ensuring fair compensation for our dedicated pet care team. To balance flexibility with the necessity of reserving time exclusively for your pets, we have established the following cancellation policy:
Out of Town Visits less than 3 days Cancellation Policy
Less than 24 hours notice: 100% of the total service fee is due
1-3 days notice: 75% of the total service fee is due
4-5 days' notice: 50% of the total service fee is due
6-7 days' notice: 25% of the total service fee is due
8 or more days' notice: No charge applies.
This structured approach helps us manage our schedule effectively and continue providing exceptional care to all our clients. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Overnights in Your Home/Out of Town Visits over 3 Days
Overnight care and extended out-of-town visits are among our most popular services and tend to book quickly. To secure these services, we require a 20% non-refundable deposit for reservations of overnight care and out-of-town visits exceeding 3 days. Additionally, we request a minimum of 30 days' notice for all such bookings. Please note that cancellations made within this 30-day period will result in the full payment being charged.
Mid Day walking clients, notice of cancellation is 24 hours before service is scheduled.
We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. However, to ensure that we can continue providing dedicated care to all our clients, we are unable to offer refunds or credits for pet sitting visits that are shortened due to early returns or extended due to late departures. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Holiday rates are an additional $15 per service for New Years Eve and Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Time to Pet
Time To Pet serves as our central platform for communication, scheduling services, and processing payments.
Scheduling Services:
Request Services: Through the app, you can request new services, view upcoming visits, and submit change requests. Please have a credit card on file before scheduling services.
Communication:
In-App Messaging: For all non-emergency communications, please use the app's messaging feature. This ensures organized and accessible records.
Emergency Contact: For urgent matters, feel free to contact us directly by phone.
Payments:
Automatic Billing: The app will automatically charge your saved payment method if payment becomes past due.
Payment Methods: You can securely add or update your payment details within the app.

Could you please share how often and for what duration you will visit my pet each day?
At SunnyRose Pet Services LLC, we understand that each household's pet care needs are unique. During our meet-and-greet, we'll discuss and tailor a visitation schedule that best suits your pet's routine and well-being. To ensure optimal care, our standard policy includes a minimum of 3 visits within a 24-hour period for dogs, and at least 1 visit every 48 hours for cats and caged pets. We also ask for Farm and "Live Stock" animals to be checked at least 1 visit within a 24 hour period.
Please note that we are insured for dog, cats, and caged animals, but we are not insured for farm animals/live stock animals at this time.
Extreme Weather Policy
At SunnyRose Pet Services, your pet's health, comfort, and safety are our top priorities. In the event of extreme or inclement weather—including severe thunderstorms in the immediate area, wind chills below 10 degrees, temperatures exceeding 95 degrees, or extremely icy conditions—we may limit outdoor activities to protect your pet from potential harm. Rest assured, we will never place your pet in situations that could be harmful or cause emotional distress.
May I inquire if the same pet sitter will be assigned to care for my pets during each visit?
At SunnyRose Pet Services, we prioritize consistent and personalized care for your pets. Typically, Savannah Swartwood will be your primary pet sitter, ensuring familiarity and trust. In the event of an emergency or scheduled time off, either Savannah's husband or a trusted contracted pet sitter will step in to provide care. We are committed to informing you of any such changes at least one week in advance, except in unforeseen emergencies where immediate notification will be provided.
Automatic Charging
To ensure a seamless experience, please be aware that if an invoice becomes past due, Time To Pet will automatically charge the card you have on file. If you have any questions or concerns regarding payments, we encourage you to reach out to us before your invoice reaches its due date. This proactive approach allows us to address any issues promptly and maintain uninterrupted service for you and your pet.
Travel Fee
At SunnyRose Pet Services, we are committed to providing quality care to all our clients. For residences located beyond a 13-mile radius of Johnstown, Ohio, a travel fee will be applied to accommodate the additional distance. Specifically, a fee of $5 will be added for every additional 3 miles traveled beyond the initial 13 miles. This ensures that we can continue to offer dedicated and timely service to you and your beloved pets.
Is it possible for another individual to provide overnight care for my pet concurrently with your services?
We appreciate your dedication to your pet's well-being. At SunnyRose Pet Services LLC, we prioritize the safety and consistency of care for every pet entrusted to us.
To maintain the highest standards and ensure comprehensive insurance coverage, we kindly request that only our trained and insured team provide care during scheduled overnight service periods. This policy helps us deliver consistent, professional care and ensures that your pet is always in safe hands.

How can I secure a booking for my vacation or out-of-town trip with SunnyRose Pet Services?
To ensure we can accommodate your pet care needs, we kindly request that you schedule services through the Time To Pet app within one week following your Meet & Greet. This timely scheduling helps us reserve your preferred dates and prevents availability conflicts with other clients.
Please note that bookings are confirmed only once they are scheduled in the Time To Pet app. Delays in scheduling may result in limited availability.
For extended visits—specifically overnights or trips longer than three days—a 20% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your reservation. This policy helps us manage our schedule effectively and ensures dedicated care for your pet during your absence.
